Last Saturday at the JCI Belgium NCN 2022 – Sweet Desserts in Aalst Joris Debonnet from JCI Kortrijk was granted the 2022 Staines Memorial award.
As tradtion goes the winner was chosen by the board of JCI Belgium and a touching speech was given by JCI London president Mirjam Kaerma. A dozen previous JCI Staines Memorial award laureates were present at the ceremony.
As JCI Officer Joris is one of the driving forces of the digital transformation of JCI on international level.
In the past he was also the communications engine of the World Cleanup Day Belgium – Local leaders, coordinator of the JCI Flanders Academy and provided endless support for Belgian delegations to international congresses.
His work was often behind the scenes while being very decisive for the success of several international programs and tools.
Joris is co-founder of funkytime.com and gives his free time as webmaster expert for Ondernemers Zonder Grenzen initiatives in Africa.
