We welcome Dominique Rosengarten from JCI Pays de Herve as 2021 Staines Memorial Award winner.

“This year there was no doubt that we would present the award to someone who lives JCI day in and day out.
A leader in a changing world. Someone we can all always count on.
At every regional, national and international congress but also at the local level, there are helping hands provided by this person. Winner also does not hesitate to share knowledge through training and advice and is always focused on finding the best possible solution.
Several of our current members have become members thanks to the inspiring and motivating words of the person in question. Someone who is always positive and driven despite the challenges that might rise along the way.
Everyone who comes into contact with our winner can count on warm friendship, wise words of encouragement and on national and international connections from then on. Connecting people and departments is second nature to this person. Extraordinary trait for someone who is described as an introvert.
A hard worker who will never hesitate to support JCI in Belgium and beyond and make sure others do too. Be it members, former members, senators, partners or governments.
International cooperation and friendships are therefore in our winner’s DNA. For example, our winner was responsible for setting up an international training congress and delegations that accompany our Belgian members to other congresses.
This year alone
– he established partnership contacts for our upcoming European Congress,
– he set up several projects and trainings
– he received the title of senator,
– he took on a new challenge to connect JCI Belgium even more to the international level
– he was one of the members of the district of Liège who literally moved mountains several times during the floods and
– he made sure that our King received the most beautiful flowers of the year on national television.”
Dominique is Secretaire at the Conseil Economique et Social de Wallonie and member of JCI since 2011.
